Farvel Danmark

With stop offs, it took us 6 days by trains and ferries to get from Saltaire to Copenhagen but just over 4 hours to get home. How much smaller the world seems when we travel by plane, and how much we loose that sense of travelling, where it becomes a means to an end rather than part of the adventure.

It was a lovely day to fly though with fabulous views as we left Denmark and again over England playing spot the landmark as we passed over God's own country on our way to Manchester, to return back to Yorkshire by train.
