Sunday, lovely Sunday

This is Baddow Road and when I was a child it was one of the main roads driving into Chelmsford High Street.  Long since pedestrianised, the buildings are the same though! I had a lovely long morning in glorious warm - almost hot - sunshine wandering about the town centre, ending up with brunch in a street cafe just out of shot and a free concert from a group of young drummers.  I finished the excursion by parking kerbside (safely!!) to pick a pile of dandelion flowers for Tortie - her favourite - so she's had a nice Sunday too!  Can't resist including some extras today as feeling nostalgic about my home town - back to Istanbul on Tuesday after living the life of an Essex girl since 3rd July.

Quiet afternoon at home and in the garden, bro came for dinner and then we both watched Harry Potter.  This is what a Sunday should be.
