Alms collection

Picked these carvings up on my travels in Burma.

Monks collecting alms is a common scene in the Indo-China region, most particularly in Burma and Laos.

These guys have Lord Buddha himself leading the line. They are also quite old and were extremely dusty when I bought them in an antique shop in Mandalay. Thankfully, they made it back to Australia relatively unscathed, and they now take pride of place in my living room.
