Distance lends enhancement

... to the view, as the saying goes!

After yesterday's sunshine, I'd have liked to put a distance between myself and today's miserable, grey, rain. Shouldn't grumble, of course; it's barely a week since we returned from hot, dry weather under deep blue French skies. And our gardens and fields will have been drinking up today's rain very happily.

Took this shot in this evening's drizzle, as the heavy rain eased off. When I changed it to black-and-white, I could barely see a difference from the original full colour shot. So, with a 'distant' twist, this is my offering for mono-Monday. Thanks to TheAphid for hosting this week's challenge.
