Space

I respect the importance of a space.
A space in conversation which can be comfortable or awkward but always telling.
A space between hectic daily life and more hectic life- that breath of calm that is needed on so many levels.
A space in hurting when the grief lets go enough to let you feel normal and then returns to remind you of your loss.
A space between the past and the future that has you looking in the mirror and not recognizing anything but your own eyes looking back.

So what does this have to do with a photo of DC? Absolutely nothing.
The photo and my rambling just happened on the same day. :)
