Mountain stream

Today's the day ............................ to spew

We thought that we'd had quite a lot of rain recently in Lake District - but that is nothing compared with the deluge that we have experienced today here in the Trossachs.

We love this part of Scotland - but it's a while since we've been here in the summer.  Usually we're here just before Christmas and the weather is often cold and frosty.  But it is on the west side of Scotland and we know very well that 'west' means 'wet' in the UK.  This is a small stream that runs from the hills behind Tigh Mhor.  Today it was a raging fury of foaming water spewing into Loch Achray.

Tim, Melanie and Dominic have come to join us for a few days, before Anna, Rob and Tessa take over for the second part of the week.  They drove up from Kendal today and poor little Dominic was really car sick.  There's nothing worse than a small child unwell in a confined space ....................!
