An Everyday View

There are countless views of the ocean from throughout Long Beach. Many involve the off-shore "islands" which are really cleverly disguised oil pumping platforms. You can't tell from the beach or bluffs overlooking the bay, but they were clearly visible when we flew in to the airport. Regardless, they make a great backdrop to the beachfront activities as the sun goes down on another perfect day in Southern California.
