Fun with fungi

Headed off this afternoon for a walk at my usual haunt. I was too early in the afternoon for the kingfishers so I took some shots of the ducks and cygnets but it was this fungi that captured my attention. the light on the tree was fantastic although not captured totally on camera. I have no idea what sort it is but other shots can be seen here
