Number Seven

We took a ride on the narrow gauge tourist train through the redwoods, part of an end-of-summer barbeque party for a group that Mr S is involved with. The Sonora #7 is a 60-ton Shay engine built in 1911 and still going strong. It's a pretty trip through the flickering giant trees, but the best part was the train whistle.
