Snow Down Under

TRYING TO BE A COPYCAT !

Another dull day after another 16mm of rain. I have been up the back dead heading Rhodos & then I asked Peter to dig me a hole to plant a Kowhai tree - Sophora Dragon's Gold. Such easy digging with all the rain we've had. I bought it, not because it is our national flower, but because the Tuis love the nectar.
When I saw this camellia I thought I'd try & copy JMK & her lovely flower portraits, which I have admired over many months. It has been a bit of a fiddle, but fun. I realise the most important thing is to centre your flower.......& I haven't done that......so I've got a lot to learn. Practice makes perfect !
