Splash Down

A bit of a "gimmicky" shot tonight assisted by the shorter hours of day light.

An offer of an Achaderry evening stretch of the legs was eagerly accepted by Bruce and Caley and here they are at one of their favourite spots on the walk.

Bruce swims for the sake of a swim and despite his nonsense in other respects will not enter the water until the suggestion is made to him. By comparison, for Caley a swim is just a means to an end, simply the quickest way to get to his stick.

My reluctance to shift from a threshold ISO 50 dictates an exposure time comparable to the duration some may poach an egg in.

Anyway I hope you can see the Caley flight path here. He has zoomed down the bank past a bemused, and relatively static Bruce, and launched himself a good 3 or 4 metres through the air before splashdown.
