Evening light

Flat calm this evening, perfect for the midges!  

A day of gentle gardening, dead heading and tidying, and squashing caterpillars!  Gardener friend was working in the village and dropped in.  She is really busy at the moment, but it is so seasonal and she has to make the most of every good day.  She took a bunch of sweet peas away with her, they are coming thick and fast.  They have become the give away of the moment, rather than the jam!  Earlier in the year it was eggs, and soon it will be tomatoes!  Handy to always have something on the go!
