Flower Friday

I was wandering round the garden in search of a subject for flower Friday and was distracted bya couple of Tortoiseshell Butterflies feasting on our neighbour’s buddleia, some of which hangs over our fence. I’d just got my 35-100 lens on so I knew I’d have to crop fairly hard. Then to my complete surprise and delight into my viewfinder hovered a Hummingbird Hawk-moth that stayed long enough for me to get ten shots. As it’s on the Buddleia I’m making it my contribution to Flower Friday. I’ve put a couple more of the moth in extras.
