Black Butterfly?

It's bit of a butterfly glut at the moment, so I'm taking every opportunity to photograph them. It does means either sneeking up on them or just staying in one spot and waiting......

But waiting has it's advantages, as you can watch how they respond to different conditions and even the different flowers they land on.

This is a peacock butterfly but rather than show off it's splendid colours I opted for this unusual shot instead.
