Times gone by.

The Rosebank Distillery, once a distiller of a fine Lowland Malt whisky. There's been a distillery on this site for 200 yrs. I visited this place through work around this time of year some 26 yr ago. It was near to the Hospital where my wife was in the maternity unit. The factory shut in 1993, our first born continues to thrive.
Unopened 20 year old bottles of Rosebank whisky are now fetching over £1000(!) at auction.
The distillery is on the banks of the canal and Scottish Canals plan a joint venture here I gather, maybe a visitor centre. The Rosebank bonded warehouse has been a restaurant for years. A new distillery is being built 5 miles east.
