Basic play

The Yellow Warning of Rain failed to deliver today. We were able to take Nell and the new cameras for a walk. I made a conscious decision to stick to full auto mode and the kit lens, just to see what basic capability we have.

It really is beautiful at Brahan. We wandered through the woods and by the river. The river is very swollen so somebody somewhere must have been doused in the yellow stuff.

Off tomorrow to shop in Inverness *sigh* and then to the caravan site at Culloden for two nights. It is nice there too, with direct access to forest walks and with the added bonus of showers and hookups. So tomorrow I can get a hair wash and fire up the laptop for a closer look at todays photos. That's if I survive the shopping part.
