Gillipaw's Journal

London Millennium Footbridge

A great day out on the South Bank of the Thames. The sun shone all day. So much going on - busking, filming, bubbles, sandart. Of course we had to walk across this bridge, and back again. Not as wobbly as I remember it.

We enjoyed a rehearsal in Southwark Cathedral, a wander around Borough Market, and several hours in the Tate Modern including a visit to the Tanks in the new Blavatnik Building.

Then a two mile walk to Carnaby, where we met up with #2 and Ch. Ramen at Shoryu, followed by icecream.

Awful news during the afternoon from Barcelona. We have family on holiday there. They were very near the incident. Thankfully safe.
