The End of My Tether

I have spoken to RBS seven times since Tuesday trying to set up an overdraft. Seven times. In six days. I have been told it will take forty eight hours, twenty four hours, and then that it cannot be done over the phone. I have explained the situation to most of the people who work for RBS, and in turn most of them have told me they can't access that part of the system.

The powers of frustratingly poor organisation have conspired against me and it is incredibly irritating. I despise incompetence.

Fingers crossed for someone to take ownership of their situation and solve some problems tomorrow. Otherwise I'll start taking payment upfront and keeping my cash under my mattress.
