The Icing on the Cake

We walked 19 miles today on Dartmoor in non stop rain and wind, starting at 8am, celebrating 40 years since the foundation of the Long Distance Walkers Association. Afterwards in the Boys Brigade Training Centre at Haytor there was a grand spread, and cake. There were speeches as well, from long standing members. Great cake- suited the occasion
