Uplifted

By the Capitol building, whatever the limitations of democracy, after visiting the Newseum to pay respect to Ed Murrow, then listening to civil rights leader John Lewis and writer Mario Vargas Llosa at the National Book Fair. Great to do all this on foot thanks to our kind host on Capitol Hill.
Lewis, asked how young people should keep up progress, didn't hesitate to say "Vote. The vote is somehow sacred".
