Columbia Blue

Just one day after returning to Walla Walla from Bozeman, Montana, T and I got up early to head to my mother's farm near the coast in Western Oregon. We are hoping to observe the much hyped total solar eclipse from the comfort of the family front porch. As we headed west down US 730, an hour into our journey, the light was just coming into the canyon . This photo is perhaps a bit empty but captures the early morning blue of water moving, like us, towards the ocean.
