The Tower of (No) Power

I went for a walk in the country with other like-minded loonies this weekend. On the way, I came across Lund's Tower, which is situated to the south-west of the village of Sutton in Craven.

It struck me that this is all that Sauron might have achieved in Mordor had he been dependent on a grant from the local council.
