Lakeland Groceries The Place To Shop

Situated under Deansgate Station bridge, at first glance  it looks small and unimposing. However , as with covers of books so it is with Lakeland. .
Inside it has depth , frozen , fresh , canned , a deli , meat , cheese , fruit and veg, wine etc  . The staff know just what is in stock , are great people to know , will always share a joke. Hayley ( seen above)is almost an' abacus on legs' . She can reckon your products on seeing them and always beats the till ..The prices here are so much cheaper than the big supermarkets too. A supporter of small shops this is my idea of paradise .(example ) a huge punnet of seedless grapes 69p or £1.. Same item in the big supermarkets up to £2.00
