5 years ago we came on a cycling holiday to Alsace. StorksRock had booked us up some tastings with some of the big names including Hugel and Trimach. Those big guns are very impressive  but JosMeyer were the ones we loved.  We arrived on the appointed day, which was a weekday, only to find that there was only the accountant working that day. The problem being the transit of Venus - very bad for working on the vines - they are biodynamic here and take it seriously ! The tasting and the wines were great that day, and we loved the wines we took away. 

Five years later we were welcomed again with a tasting.  JosMeyers wines are balanced, elegant and expressive, just as remembered. We must try not to leave it so long to come back again.
