Holkham parkrun

I loved Holkham parkrun this morning, despite the first half being mainly uphill and very challenging on a windy day. It's a beautiful course on the spectacular Holkham Hall Estate in Norfolk. The payback for the tough first half, however, is a wonderful fully downhill final km, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The highly organised system for returning the finish tokens (see picture), overseen by a hawk eyed volunteer brought a further smile to my face.
