Tawny Owl

Community FunDay today and the church had a stall at it. We didn't sell much (didn't really expect to) but did chat to several people and gave away some booklets.
I was also doubling as photographer so I can put pics in the next community newsletter so I wandered round to see what was happening.
There was a good turn out and the rain stayed off and all the kids had lots of fun at the activities (rides, face painting, crafts etc). There were also dancing and cheerleaders displays, talented youngsters.
The Raptor Centre had brought a number of birds, the oldest being a 21 yr-old Eagle Owl and the youngest this Tawny Owl at 17 weeks.
It finished at 1400 so we had time for a short run before tea.
