Flower Show

It's our village flower show this weekend and the staging is tonight. My astounding lack of knowledge is not impressing Bro4 one bit and we have taken up a kind offer of help from someone in the village who is going to show him how to prep & stage each entry. The amount of green left on the carrots has to be a particular length, onions need tied a certain way, I don't have a clue what he needs to do.
Over the past few days Bro4 has been working hard getting all his vegetables dug up and picked. The search for matching carrots was quite an onerous task, then matching potatoes, beetroot, onions, pea pods etc. You get the idea.
He's also made lots of vegetable themed items for the children's categories, an animal made from vegetables, a miniature garden & edible necklace amongst his favourites.
Our gardening mad boy is beyond excited, the rest of us are a little perplexed by the whole thing.
