Hoverflies on poppy

This morning's sun had the garden buzzing with insects - red admirals on the buddlieas, bees on the thyme and the teasels,  and hoverflies everywhere, but especially on the poppies.  In the afternoon, the rain came down in buckets again, so they all went off to hide.
