Goodbye aloe

This massive aloe at Old Government House is coming out on Tuesday.  It’s been decided that it is a hazard to visitors, with vicious long spikes, and is far too big for its place in the garden bed.  Added to that, there is a very precious heritage rose growing up through it.
 
Paladian and I will be there on Tuesday to “supervise”. We are both very good at telling people what to do.
