Driving in the State Forest

I believe I have a Blipsnap with Paladian today.
Our drive to the La Trobe Valley and back meant several hours negotiating the winding roads of our state forest.  The whole forest seemed to be ablaze with the same golden wattle that Paladian describes.  We have many wattle trees locally along our river, but none of them are as tall as these.  It was a glorious sight, despite the pouring rain.  I took this pic through the car window, but having wound it down, of course I have a spot of rain on the lens. As Paladian said, it is so hard to get a camera to convey the beauty of such a  scene.
