Shepshed Water Mill

It was the annual Zedfest at Shepshed Water Mill in Leicestershire today.
Zedfest is a meet up of BMW Z sportscars from Z3's and Z4's with a single BMW Z1 today. Anyone who has watched Wheeler Dealers will know the first BMW Z series incarnation that has the doors that drop into the sills.

The main image is of the upper pond that feeds the water wheel. I was stood on a bridge over the water that enters the pool through a culvert right under the M1 not 20 yards behind me. You cannot see this place as you drive by above it.

The image was a 7 shot HDR subtle processed and then a mono layer created using silver efex pro which was then used as an overlay mask at something like 40% opacity. More realistic than a hard processed HDR.

A great turnout at a great welcoming and central location and much time was spent chatting to the great friends made over recent years. Oh, we looked at a few cars too.

The extra is of Z4 but this car has been vinyl wrapped in this better yellow wrap. It shows the light wonderfully because it does't have reflections. Anyone tell which bit it is?
