Magnificent!!

Back blip

We docked at Ketchikan today, the first port of call in Alaska. On our trip ashore we visited a rainforest sanctuary. Bald eagles were seen in the wild, but the quality of my pictures was poor. There was a small centre for the rehabilitation of injured birds and I got to see this beauty close up. He has damaged claw, which restricts his ability to catch fish so he needs to be cared for.
 
We had lunch at a Crab restaurant, enormous platters of legs!! I should have taken a photo before we started, because by the time I had tucked in I was really messy!!!
 
The sail away was interesting with the seaplanes flying in and out. (in extras)
