Beinn nam Ban

Although it was a lovely warm and sunny day, there was a strong wind blowing again and loads of lenticular clouds ahead of a breakdown in the weather. We decided to go up the Marilyn of Beinn nam Ban which is east of the road to Badralloch. It’s a typical Torridonian hill with boggy slopes and rock steps that need weaving between We parked at the high point of the road and were soom at the top. The blip is from near the summit looking north with Ben Mor Coigach prominent along with the clouds. We then decided to go over towards Achiltibuie, where the extra was taken looking south towards Torridon. By this time the wind was really strong and the temperature was 28 at 17:30; a real föhn.
