Capturing my Journey

Ready

This morning we gathered in the weaned lambs and separated off the ones going to the sale. We then went through them and chose which groups will sell together and put a coloured mark on the wool so they are easy to seperate at the mart. The Suffolk are sold in two groups the top draw who are the biggest and fattest and then the second draw who are thinner and smaller. We also separated the llyen x cheviot lambs in the same way.  We also have last years suffolk sheepdog training sheep going and an old tup and an old ewe. A trailer load. We then filled the hay hecks and water buckets for the sheep as they will stay in the shed overnight. Then we sorted the trailer and got it in sheep mode with the two decks and backed it into position ready for loading in the morning.

18c overcast but dry
