Nothing happens here...

It comes in 3's...

1.  Cutting the grass this morning when MrsDB pointed out that something had fallen off the mower.  It turned out to be the air filter.  It was easily replaced but the plastic moulding that holds it in place had gone.  Searched about 300 yards of long grass under hedges but looks like it's well hidden.  These things usually reappear in the winter when the leaves fall.

2.  Trimming the edges of the grass around an inspection hatch for the septic tank and had to lift the cover off to remove weeds.  Oh dear, the sight that greeted me was most unpleasant.  Contents well above the outflow = blockage.  There followed 90 minutes of rodding and power hosing and rodding and power hosing and rodding and...  A real stubborn blockage of solidified soap.  We are most particular not to put cooking fats into the waste, this stuff comes from hair shampoos, body washes, cold fill washing liquids and other 'eco-friendly' products.

3.  This afternoon I needed a rest so I went back to sorting through the pics and negs stored up in a loft.  I found about 100 or so that I haven't yet scanned for my collection.  Not a bad couple of hours work.  Putting the boxes back into storage I failed to pay enough attention to the beams, bent forward to put down a heavy box and cracked my head on a beam.  The bleeding has stopped, the chunk of skin and hair has been removed and MrsDB had applied a dollop of 'mending stuff' with the touch of an angel - on steroids.  So pleased she didn't choose nursing as a vocation.
