Mono Monday - Water - Seafield Pond

I found this challenge rather daunting today as when I went out to shoot my blip it was rather dull and I could not really envisage how my images would look in monochrome. The shot I have chosen in the end is looking across Seafield Pond. It's interest I suppose lies in the different areas of water. The nearest water is slightly moved by the wind and ruffled by a lot of under water vegetation; the middle bit where the water is totally calm and still, giving the best areas of reflection and the far patch of water that is totally wind-blown and covered in ripples.
