SIGNS

Fukuoka City Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi sign at Hakata Station, Fukuoka. Apparently, the 'f', the first letter of the name of the city as well as 'free', is highlighted in the sign.

The photograph is blurred as I was in the huge tide of people at the biggest station in the Kyushu region.

This was my very first time to come to Kyushu, the southernmost island of the four of Japan's main islands. The name Kyushu literally means "nine provinces" in Japanese but now the island consists of seven prefectures; and Fukuoka, the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture, is the most populous city on the island.
