Topical?

Just finished the one on the left; about to start on the other. It'll be a difficult read.
One thing that jarred immediately from the sleeve notes was the absolute desperation of both sides after the war for Europe to unite and be united against tyranny in all forms.
It's absolutely fucking awful that we are being agitated by the very same sort of cunt who engineered the last one into a fearful state now; nearly eighty years later.
As ever, I despair.
