Here Comes the Sun

How blessed we were to share a backyard spot for eclipse gazing with our two weekend travelers, Fontelle (left), and Grace. They both look stylin', along with their grandmother Tom, with the latest in eclipse shades. Looks like God ordered the encore for our adventure, one of trains and seafood and rock and roll and Uber drivers and Giant Wheel rides street fairs and street tacos...where do I stop? This morning's eclipse was profound, and the conversation went to deep subjects. But at 100% totality, when our world went dark, the girls went tribal, running over the fields, shouting, totally immersed in the darkness. We all were; something in this went straight to the core of us, to the soul, something tribal. I can't find any more words for it now...simply...heavenly.
