Castle Fraser to Leith Hall

A change of venue for viewing gardens today. We went first to Castle Fraser where several butterflies offered to pose for me. I accepted the offer from one of them. They all seemed to be enjoying sunning themselves and were not moving very much.

We went on to Leith Hall where we had a coffee. We were taking a walk around the walled garden when it started to rain. Heavily! We made it back to the car before the rain really got going. We decided to abandon gardens for the day and headed home. It rained, sometimes very heavily, all the way back to Aberdeen and on into the evening.
