There and back again

Side by side

Tucked away on the northern side of the Marshwood Vale is the village of Marshwood itself. Its pub the Bottle Inn is famous for the International Nettle Eating Festival it holds every year, the winner being the one who consumes the greatest amount of nettles!!

Here seen from Lamberts Castle is the village church of St Mary's, built in 1841, with its churchyard and alongside is Marshwood C of E Primary school. both nestled in the Dorset countryside as it has for centuries.
