Gruesome Pit

Today was the first day of the 6 Days orienteering and also the one that our club and one other organised. The weather was great, despite the forecast and everyone seemed happy. I was doing an early shift on download and then went for my run. I had a good run, but the course was a bit boring as was the area. We had volunteered to collect controls and ended up picking up ones from the kids courses and also some tape that was used to screen off this gruesome sight / site. The estate obviously dumps the heads and guts of deer into pits; the stench was truly awful.
