Discovering

Walked home from our Craiglockhart Campus enjoying the peace & quite (having had supper with 30 school pupils who were visiting - fun but noisy) and realised that whilst I'd passed this on many occasions I had never stopped to stare. So I did.

It is a memorial inspired by the surrounding area including Wester & Easter Craiglockhart Hills and the poetry of Wilfred Owens who stayed at Craiglockhart when it was a hospital during First World War.

I'd like to think he would welcome present day of use Craiglockhart as a campus with students from all around the world.
