Durham from the train

It was raining all night in Edinburgh, so a good time to leave Scotland methinks.  We've had a thoroughly lovely time and seen some inspiring stuff.  We're not sure what Sam will be doing next year (or Rhea) so this may be our last visit to the festival for a while.

Here is Durham seen from the train, it looks like the cathedral has a bandage around it's head which I gather is restoration work.  (It was raining in Durham too).

Nice to be back, although Martin reports that the dog has been quite unsettled.  No wonder, since her 'pack' have been living a very irregular life.  Sam is currently camping with friends (locally) and Ben, only just back from visiting St Albans and then my parents in Croydon is off tomorrow to another festival.
More pics from this one here.

It's all change again this weekend and we'll hopefully see James - albeit briefly!
