Kingfisher at last

I was grumbling to other walkers yesterday about how few kingfishers I had seen this year.  Imagine my delight this afternoon when I spotted one. I was out for a walk with my son who wanted to know of any hilly areas around, so he could do some hill running training.  After heading out along the coastal footpath we returned to the river where this kingfisher was resting before it flew away.
