Down by the Thames

Today l went with a friend down to Hampton Court. We took the train to Richmond and then caught a ferry for the ladt bit to Hampton Court. The journey took 11/2 hours on the boat and passed some wonderful old buildings finally reaching the very splendid Hampton Court, palace of delights to Royalty in times past. What an amazing place, the history within the many walls is almost palpable, l would thoroughly recommend to anyone although one day is not really enough. No photos as the place was so huge l just did not know where to start although l have attached as an extra a photo of a lady caught in one of the corridors (mi lady?) that l have played around with a bit. Todays photo is of a tranquil part of the Thames at Richmond.
I tried the maze but cheated a bit by getting bearings before starting.
A glass of wine in a pub by the river to celebrate a day well spent and then off home
