Grandchildren slept over last night - spent most of the morning indoors - playing games and generally messing about until the rain stopped then went to St Ives

Whilst feeding the ducks noticed this cygnet was holding one foot in an odd position - didn't seem to go below his body - had a healthy appetite though

Took 9&8yo's back home to York - stayed for tea - it being Wednesday - curry night - daughter made a Chicken Bhuna - since I wasn't driving even had beer - had a thoroughly good time with the young ones
