Bookend day

Today has begun with meeting a lovely friend and having a good chat, and ended with meeting a nice bunch of ladies to sew and do more chat! My kind of bookending! And the bonus cakes that come too won't get wasted as I'm sure lovely husband and Dad will do a good clearance job. Poppydog has exhausted herself meeting and greeting and now lies snoring on the sofa - it's a tough life.
