Why are all the geese lying down?

Passing a nearby geese farm saw them all lying in field rather than grazing as usual.

Perhaps they too are fed up with this dry, warm weather.
Every plant is looking withered and brown.

So fed up with my phone's poor performance.
Will have to save up for new camera again.
