The region's very best donut shop is getting ready to close until march. This disappointed guy drove 20 miles to get a couple of the glazed (and only) variety and a coffee, only to find that the late summer abbreviated hours of operation have change. Out of luck. It was a dull, but pleasant morning at Carolina Beach. See extra.
